has an opening for a Before-School Childcare Aide for the 2024-2025 school year at our West Elementary Campus. Start time is 7:00 a.m. with students arriving as early as 7:15 a.m. on Monday mornings. Before-care ends when the building opens for the school day.Job Description Position Title:

To provide supervision for the Monday before-school childcare program.Job Responsibilities:
Provide a variety of activities, structured and unstructured, that are age-appropriate and enjoyable. Monitor the safety of children and be able to account for all children at all times. Supervise breakfast. Rooms, halls, and gyms must be picked up, tables washed and everything left in an orderly fashion. Communicate to Principal about any special activities, questions or concerns. Communicate with parents in regard to any special issues regarding their child. Practice consistent and effective discipline. Communicate and display a positive and fair attitude toward each child. Maintain a professional attitude and loyalty to the school and program. Show interest and be involved in children's activities. Follow all district policies Teach children responsibility, good manners, and respect for each other and toys or equipment.Qualifications:
Education and/orExperience:
19 Years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.Preferred:
experience working as a caregiver for preschool/school-age children Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsEssential Functions:
