7:45AM•3:45PM (Summer Only) About the Role Do you love working with children and want to make a real impact in their daily lives? We're looking for a warm, dependable, and nurturing Summer Camp Assistant to join our Montessori community serving children ages 15 months to 3 years old. In this role, you'll guide children through enriching activities, support them in caring for their environment, and ensure their days are safe, joyful, and meaningful—all in keeping with the Montessori philosophy. This role has potential to turn into a full time, year-round position with us. What You'll Do Create a nurturing, engaging summer camp experience where children feel respected, supported, and inspired. Lead activities and supervise play, always with safety and Montessori values at the core. Maintain a clean, organized space by helping with daily tidying, light cleaning, and restocking supplies. What We're Looking For A genuine love for children and a positive, team-oriented spirit. High school diploma or equivalent (required). At least 1 year of childcare experience (preferred in Montessori, but not required). Willingness to complete or already hold CPR/First Aid certification and 45-hour DCF training. Self-motivation, reliability, and professionalism in working with staff, children, and families.
