Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate, experienced Cook to join our culinary team in our assisted living and memory care community. The ideal candidate should have acknowledgement on how to cook, how to cook from scratch and how to cook special diets. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our residents expectations while adhering to food safety standards. Must have experience in working in dietary as a cook. Must be able to work first shift and second shift. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and state menus. Assist in menu planning, considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food items safely and efficiently, following proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control and quality of food delivered to residents. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or catering or assistant living environment is important Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all kitchen staff. A passion for cooking is highly recommended.
Certification:
