Morning Opening/Lunch Cook

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Morning Opening/Lunch Cook to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for opening the kitchen and working with the chef during lunch hours. You will learn to prepare all lunch and brunch items and prep the line accordingly making sure kitchen is ready for the evening as well. This position requires being on time, culinary skills and the ability to multi task in a good environment. Must be a self starter to succeed. Duties Prepare and cook all brunch and lunch meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring high quality and presentation standards Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety protocols and sanitation standards Monitor food inventory levels, assist and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service during busy hours Qualifications Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of menu planning, meal prep techniques, and culinary practices Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food safety standards are essential Experience with catering or large-scale food service is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us as a Morning Opening/Lunch Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
