Responsibilities Review and verify all loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and Fair Housing regulations. Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, ensuring adherence to TILA (Truth in Lending Act), contracts, and other federal or state regulations. Conduct credit analysis by assessing borrower financials, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios to determine loan eligibility. Manage the entire loan processing cycle efficiently, including data entry using 10-key typing skills and basic math calculations for escrow accounts and other financial figures. Coordinate with mortgage servicing teams to ensure seamless transition from approval to closing and beyond. Maintain detailed records of all processing activities, correspondence, and compliance documentation for audit purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage processing within the financial services sector. Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and mortgage servicing processes. Familiarity with TILA regulations, escrow procedures, contracts, and fair housing laws. Excellent credit analysis skills combined with proficiency in basic math and 10-key typing accuracy. Ability to interpret complex financial documents and perform detailed credit assessments. Experience working with banking systems or mortgage software platforms is preferred. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy throughout the loan process.
