Mosquito/exclusion specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mosquito/Exclusion Specialist to join our pest control team. In this role, you will focus on preventing mosquito populations and implementing exclusion techniques to protect residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help create safer, more comfortable outdoor environments by identifying entry points, applying exclusion methods, and educating clients on mosquito prevention strategies. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify mosquito breeding sites and entry points Install physical exclusion barriers such as screens, mesh, and seals around windows, doors, vents, and other potential entry points Apply pest control treatments where necessary, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines Utilize hand tools and power tools to install or repair exclusion devices efficiently and effectively Educate clients on best practices for mosquito prevention and property maintenance to reduce future infestations Use lawn care, landscaping, farming, or land management techniques to eliminate standing water sources that attract mosquitoes Operate farm machinery, vehicles, and driving equipment safely during site visits and installations Skills Strong knowledge of pest control principles with a focus on mosquito exclusion techniques Experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is highly desirable Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery for installation and repairs Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently for site access and client appointments Familiarity with land management practices that reduce mosquito breeding habitats Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Mosquito/Exclusion Specialist to help communities enjoy their outdoor spaces free from pests!
