Mountain Operations Department:
Mountain Operations/Grounds Reports to: Manager of Mountain Operations For our Mountain Operations team, two days are never the same! This role works closely with various departments onsite to perform landscaping, mountain construction, and water park set-up/tear down to ensure the resort is looking its best for guests and associates. This is a part-time, year-round role that could become a full-time position.Key Responsibilities:
Perform ground maintenance including trimming, cutting, planting, and grooming. Assist with landscaping projects and hardscape installations from demolition through construction. Support water park set-up and tear-down as needed. Perform routine maintenance and renovation tasks across the property. Operate, maintain, and refuel tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Adapt to changing weather conditions and daily operational needs. Follow all safety procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Open availability required; schedules may exceed 40 hours per week during peak season. Strong listening, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages a plus. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Ability to navigate steep, uneven, or icy terrain and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Ability to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely. Ability to tolerate exposure to busy or noisy work areas, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
