Mover/Packer

Overview Join our dynamic moving and packing team as a Mover/Packer, where your energy and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth relocations and ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, and unloading items, as well as assisting with transportation logistics. Your proactive approach and physical stamina will contribute to efficient operations and happy clients. Duties Carefully pack and secure items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload trucks with heavy or bulky items, utilizing manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Assist with moving furniture, boxes, and equipment into or out of storage units, vehicles, or client locations Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks or courier vans for local deliveries and pickups, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Maintain organization of packing supplies and ensure all items are properly labeled for easy identification during delivery or storage Collaborate with team members to plan efficient routes for route driving assignments, ensuring timely deliveries or pickups Follow safety procedures consistently during manual lifting, load securing, and driving tasks to minimize risk of injury Experience Prior warehouse experience or background in moving services is highly desirable Experience in customer service roles that involve direct interaction with clients is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or courier experience preferred Familiarity with operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities enhances performance in this role Join us to be part of a motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional service through active movement, careful packing, and safe transportation.
