Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mower Operator and Litter Pickup Specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will help maintain pristine outdoor spaces. In this role, you will operate various landscaping equipment, including mowers and power tools, to ensure lawns and landscapes are beautifully maintained. You will also be responsible for litter collection and debris removal, contributing to a clean and inviting environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and outdoor beautification while working outdoors in a fast-paced setting. Duties Operate lawn mowers, including riding and push mowers, to trim grass and maintain landscaped areas efficiently. Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, edging, and detailed landscape work. Collect litter, debris, and trash from designated areas to promote cleanliness and safety. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and basic tree care when needed. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear. Perform routine inspections of equipment like excavators and irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning. Follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment, power tools, and landscaping machinery. Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance of landscaping equipment. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree trimming techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows is advantageous. Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining clean and well-kept outdoor spaces.
