In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscapes through precise mowing, trimming, and planting. Your mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various tools and equipment will ensure the highest standards of landscape care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, showcase your landscaping skills, and contribute to beautiful, functional outdoor areas. The job is Monday-Friday 7:30-2pm. Occasionally on weekends. Duties Operate lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment to maintain lawns and gardens efficiently. Perform mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, and planting to uphold landscape aesthetics and health. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including irrigation system checks, tree care such as trimming and removal, and hardscape upkeep. Use excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or minor landscaping projects when necessary. Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment regularly and ensuring proper use of tools during all tasks. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Support horticulture practices by applying fertilizers, pest control measures, and soil amendments as needed. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge related to operating lawn care machinery and power tools. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like blowers and trimmers. Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic horticulture principles is a plus. Prior experience with snow plowing or winter landscape services is advantageous. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Join us in creating stunning outdoor spaces!
