Mowing Crew Leader/ Crew Member

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mowing, landscaping, and grounds-keeping. As a Crew Leader, you will supervise, coordinate, and assist the activities of your crew to ensure high-quality service delivery in lawn care, grounds-keeping maintenance. This role is vital for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces while providing leadership and guidance to team members. Starting at $20 and up based on experience. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, and basic clean-up. Train and mentor crew members on best practices for lawn care, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any issues promptly. Communicate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide exceptional customer service. Assist in planning and executing landscape projects, ensuring quality standards are met. Requirements Proven experience in supervising teams within the landscaping or groundskeeping industry. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices. Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to achieve high performance. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver's license is required; ability to operate landscaping equipment is a plus. Ability to safely pull a trailer.
