This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to create a calm and reassuring environment for patients. You will be responsible for maintaining MRI safety standards, producing diagnostic-quality images, and collaborating with a dedicated clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Essential Responsibilities Maintain safety for patients, staff, and visitors in the MRI environment Perform MRI safety screenings (verbal and written) Clearly explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and cooperation Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging Select coils and imaging parameters based on protocol and patient needs Operate MRI equipment and monitor image quality Evaluate images for diagnostic accuracy Administer contrast media as needed Additional Responsibilities Stay current with MRI technology and best practices Participate in continuing education requirements Collaborate with leadership to maintain efficient workflow Assist with training MRI students when applicable Maintain inventory of MRI supplies Perform routine QA procedures and report equipment concerns

Qualifications Education & Certifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active Florida Radiologic Technologist License ARRT (R) certification ARRT (MR) certification BLS certification Venipuncture experience required

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work both independently and within a team Adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach Ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively
