Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your imaging expertise in an engaging healthcare setting, where your skills as an MRI Technologist will make a true impact. This contract position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic images while collaborating with a dedicated care team.
Required Qualifications:
Registered MRI Technologist with certification from ARRT (MRI) or equivalent Demonstrated competency in operating MRI equipment and related software Strong patient care skills with a compassionate and reassuring approach Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and established protocols Position patients appropriately and ensure their comfort and safety throughout procedures Evaluate images for accuracy and quality before submitting to radiologists for interpretation Maintain MRI equipment, report malfunctions, and follow up on necessary maintenance Document all patient interactions and scan details accurately in electronic health records Screen patients for MRI contraindications and explain the procedure clearly Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times By taking on this important role, you'll contribute to timely diagnoses and positive patient experiences in a supportive environment.
