Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled MRI Technologist with expertise in MRI imaging. In this dynamic contract role, you will perform high-quality MRI scans, collaborate closely with clinical teams, and ensure patient comfort and safety at every turn. Your technical proficiency and compassionate approach will make a vital difference in the diagnostic process.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated competency in MRI imaging procedures and protocols Experience operating a wide range of MRI scanners and related equipment Strong knowledge of patient safety practices and MRI safety standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team BLS certification required
Schedule:
Follows designated facility hours and shift requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI scans according to established protocols Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and address any concerns Operate MRI equipment, ensure proper imaging techniques, and troubleshoot equipment as needed Monitor patient condition during scans, escalating any changes appropriately Coordinate with radiologists and physicians regarding imaging needs and findings Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and uphold confidentiality Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines, contributing to a safe clinical environment
