Finance Manager Job Summary:
The MRP Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning and control of inventory and production schedules to meet customer demand and company goals. The role involves analyzing demand, creating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products. We have a dynamic team that wants you to succeed.Key Responsibilities:
MRP System Management:
Maintain and manage the MRP system to ensure accurate and timely data processing. Regularly update and maintain the MRP master data, including bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and inventory levels.Production Planning:
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasted demand, and inventory targets. Monitor production schedules to ensure alignment with demand and adjust plans as necessary. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.Inventory Control:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize excess and obsolete inventory. Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify and address discrepancies and variances.Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
Demand Forecasting:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts.
Supplier Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components. Address any supply chain disruptions and work with suppliers to resolve issues promptly.Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in the MRP and production planning processes. Participate in cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and other continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications:
Preferred bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.Experience:
3-5 years of experience in MRP, production planning, or inventory management in a manufacturing environment.Skills:
Proficiency in MRP/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Preferred Protein Procurement BC Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional visits to the production floor. May require occasional travel to supplier sites or other company locations. Environment where you can apply your skills and grow professionally.Job Type:
