MSP Engineer

MSP Engineer Canton, MA (On-site) Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer / Network Systems Engineer to support our Managed Services (MSP) clients. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for a technically strong engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working across diverse environments, and delivering high-quality IT support. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical users. You will be responsible for supporting server, desktop, and network environments across multiple client organizations. What You'll Do Provide hands-on technical support for MSP clients across server, desktop, and network environments Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Windows Server infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop, server, and network issues Support firewall, backup, and security solutions across client environments Work directly with end users and client stakeholders, providing clear communication and timely resolution Assist with system builds, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance Participate in documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts Required Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience in IT systems, network administration, or MSP environments Strong customer service and communication skills Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple client issues

Technical Experience Must Include:

Microsoft 365 (O365) administration Windows Server administration (2008-2019), including Exchange and Terminal Services Active Directory administration Windows desktop operating systems (XP-Windows 10) Microsoft Office (2010-2019) Endpoint security and antivirus solutions (VIPRE, Kaspersky) Backup solutions (Symantec Backup Exec, Acronis) Remote support tools (LogMeIn Central, LogMeIn Rescue) Malware removal and remediation tools (Malwarebytes, Combofix, SuperAntiSpyware, etc.) Firewall technologies (SonicWall, Cisco, Juniper) Network systems management and troubleshooting Mobile device support (iOS, Android, BlackBerry) LAN/WAN technologies and applications IP addressing, subnetting, and network design Router interfaces and internal components Desktop and laptop design, build, deployment, and troubleshooting

Salary Expectation:

$60,000-$90,000 IND-1
