The Job You Will Perform:
Duties for Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Associates include, but are not restricted to, electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting & repair, instrumentation & control valve calibration, and troubleshooting & repair. Duties for Mechanical Maintenance Associates include, but are not restricted to, replacing valves & gaskets, basic welding, repacking pumps & valves, forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations, cylinder repair, pump repair & replacement, repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements, and repair of mechanical drive systems.

Successful candidate should have the ability to: Personally exhibit safety as a core value and effectively communicate a shared vision for safety Represent both company policy and direction Develop knowledge of department and mill operations processes, equipment and systems Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills Work effectively alone or within a team Utilize strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively Analyze problems and develop solutions independently or with teams Basic computer skills Make timely and effective decisions
Required Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent Must be 18 years or older Eligible for employment in the US Able to work in a team environment One (1) year experience or one (1) year vocational/technical education in any of the following
Maintenance Disciplines:
Instrumentation, Electrical, Welding, Millwright, or Machinist. Plus - must be willing to meet the following requirements : Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment. Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment. Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification. Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis Wear required safety equipment/PPE Continue to develop skills to become a multi-skill maintenance technician Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection).
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in a maintenance discipline. Relevant work experience in an industrial environment. Strong math/physics understanding.
