Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician with a strong background in highly automated manufacturing to join our team. This is a true multi-craft role—to be successful, you must be confident working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines, with strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to work problems from symptoms to root cause. In this role, you will execute maintenance tasks that require an in-depth technical knowledge of complex automated equipment. You will respond to real-time breakdowns, drive routine and preventive work, and play a critical role in analyzing technical failures to suggest and implement lasting improvements. 2-2-3 schedule 12
Hour Shifts Alternating:

Troubleshoot Under Pressure
  • Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues safely and in a timely manner. Automated Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on highly automated machinery to ensure peak operational performance. PLC Programming & Diagnostics
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and programming of PLC-driven equipment to resolve automation issues. Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze equipment failures and technical loss causes; formulate, suggest, and implement effective improvements to prevent repeat breakdowns. Equipment Installation
  • Support the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of new equipment and machinery within the facility. Documentation & CMMS
  • Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database, ensuring all work orders are accurately logged, updated, and closed.
Requirements Qualifications:
Required:
True Multi-Craft Capability:
Proficient in both electrical and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to execute complex teardowns and rebuilds.
Automation Experience:
Proven experience and technical knowledge working in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
PLC Skills:
Proven ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs to resolve machinery issues.
Tool Proficiency:
Solid familiarity and safe practices with basic hand and power tools.
Computer Literacy:
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and experience utilizing a CMMS.
Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred:
Specialized Systems:
