Duties Greet visitors warmly and provide exceptional guest services to enhance their museum experience Assist customers in selecting merchandise, answer product questions, and offer recommendations Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing sales and giving change Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gift shop displays and stock shelves regularly Manage inventory levels, restock items as needed, and record sales data for reporting purposes Promote upcoming events, exhibitions, or special programs to visitors to encourage participation Support event management efforts by setting up displays or assisting with special sales during museum events Open and close the Museum Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems Ability to manage conflicts professionally and resolve guest concerns effectively Knowledge of event management principles to assist during special occasions or exhibitions Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
