Hiring Range:
Starting at $38.50 hrly. The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
Conducts an in-depth interview with patients to ensure full understanding of the surgical procedure, required preparation, and all other relevant Collaborates with provider, office staff and Surgical Services team to promote optimization of patient for best surgical outcomes. Reviews patient's medical history and medications, assesses health status, and identifies any medical anomalies that may impact planned surgery. Initiates consultation with other physicians and/or obtains additional orders for pre-operative testing, as Provides counsel to patient or patient's representative regarding timing, transportation before and after surgery and planning for in-patient stay as needed. Resource of knowledge/SME/ coordinates Enhanced Recovery After Surgery goals.

Required Credential(s): Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer Preferred Credential(s):
BLS Provider Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required, BSN preferred.
Work Experience:
Surgical preop preferred.
