N.C. Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) Instructor (Part-time)

JOB The N.C. Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) Instructor (Part-time) will provide classroom and psychomotor skill instruction in accordance with the approved course curriculum and lesson plans of the NCDAC, maintain timely and complete documentation associated with student and College records, and ensure the security and confidentiality of student information and student records.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

High school diploma or GEDPossess an unexpired General Instructor Certification issued by the N.C. Department of Justice (NCDOJ) and/or N.C. Justice Academy (NCJA)Applicant must be approved to teach by the N.C. Department of Adult Corrections, Office of Staff Development and Training (OSDT) - Director Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's licenseWorking ConditionsClassroom, lab, or shop environment Frequent standing and walking to monitor student progress Some light lifting of materials pertaining to classroom training set-up, and physical demonstration of psychomotor skill training topics
