Experienced Loom Technician 1st or 2nd shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fix flagged looms and diagnose/troubleshoot.
• Perform essential preventative maintenance.
• Overhaul looms and Jacquards.
• Inspect cloth on all looms for quality.
• Perform required pattern changes as needed.
• Set up, adjust and repair machines to keep them running at peak efficiency and quality.
• Doff (remove) rolls of cloth and move to designated areas
• Cut header and check for correctness.
• Spare weave as needed.

Job Qualifications:

You must have mechanical experience to be qualified! Pay depending on experience. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English Must be able to use math and use logical thinking Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instructions. Knowledge of all loom functions and requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Follow all safety rules and regulations Use PPE and other safety equipment as need to perform job in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to follow the Point of Manufacturing Control Quality program and ISO System. Properly and safely use all tools; operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, etc. Attend training schools as required to obtain knowledge and skills to perform job.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to handle rolls of doffed fabric and move to inspection Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the floor. Must be able to stretch, reach, walk, carry, squat, bend, climb and kneel as required by job. Pay is depending on experience in the textile industry. Sattler Corp. is an EEO Employer.
