NDSU is seeking candidates who are dedicated to supporting the academic success and holistic well-being of students. The Assistant Director for Learning Services provides coordination for ACE Tutoring and Rising Scholars Peer Mentoring services, which includes student employment, collaborating with other departments, and campus outreach. Based on our shared Student Affairs and Institutional Equity values, this position is committed to service, teamwork, and belonging. Manage daily operations of the ACE Tutoring Center and Rising Scholars peer mentoring program; Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student tutors and mentors; Collaborate with academic departments and services to support students; Contribute to the development and implementation of Bison Life curriculum that advances student discovery, connection, growth, and thriving; Publicize and do campus outreach to ensure awareness of services; Create and maintain a tutoring and mentoring appointment schedule; Assess learning and effectiveness of services; Demonstrate ability to provide exceptional care for students; Occasionally serve on ad hoc committees with a focus on strengthening student Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm; 7:30 am-4:00 pm during summer and breaks. Occasional evening work may be required. Hiring Range:
$50,000-$59,000 Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; Three years of experience coordinating services/programs in a related setting; Experience as a supervisor; Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; Demonstrated experience with organization and attention to detail; Demonstrated experience with collaboration; Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional care for students Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree; Curriculum development experience; Assessment and data analysis experience; Marketing and outreach experience Applicant Materials Required:
