Job Summary The Network Engineer III is responsible for the planning, designing, engineering, configuration and troubleshooting of complex data, video, and voice networks. This individual works closely with clients, vendors, carriers, and other technical and non-technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements and develop options, recommendations, and associated cost benefits while providing engineering design for implementations. This position will research, evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for data, video, and voice networks. Will assess emerging technologies and make recommendations to Information Technology management. Lastly, this role oversees, certifies and assists in the implementation and support of the enterprise wide network. Pay Range Minimum $110,094 Midpoint $145,870 Maximum $181,626 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience
    Required:
    Minimum five (5) years of experience with Cisco routers and switches, high availability design, wireless technology, cabling systems, firewalls, UPS power systems, SNMP.
      Preferred:
      Seven (7) years of experience with Cisco routers and switches, high availability design experience, wireless technology, cabling systems, firewalls, UPS power systems, SNMP. Education
        Required:
        Bachelor's degree or additional four (4) years of equivalent experience in lieu of education.
          Preferred:
          Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Training
            Required:
            Network design, routers and switches. Cisco routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls and wireless access points, IDS, CiscoWorks, WLSE and High Availability redundant designing. Specialized Skills
              Required:
              Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Strong project implementation and troubleshooting skills. Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies. Fluent in written and spoken English. Ability to work independently; manage multiple assignments; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive teams to consensus. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio. Licensure
