Job Description

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.
Job Summary:
Coordinates the predictive and preventive maintenance and repair on facilities, systems and equipment across the network of Medical Centers and sites. Coordinates requests from hospital departments for maintenance and repair services across multiple locations. Coordinates the assignment of work orders and coordinates the purchase of materials, supplies, and equipment. Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact across assigned sites.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Five years' relevant industrial/commercial maintenance experience:
Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 yrs of age or older:
Required Essential Functions:
Coordinates the plant maintenance programs across the network. Assists in the preparation of reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems across locations. Coordinates work orders, establishes work request priorities and ensures that completed work is in accordance with the customer's request across all network Medical Centers. Ensure records associated with maintenance testing are completed. Reviews completed and open work orders and preventative maintenance requests to ensure that the program is maintained current and up to date across multiple facilities. Administers computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment across the network. Performs routine inspections of equipment, facilities and tasks performed by engineers, maintenance, grounds and housekeepers across network locations to determine future needs, quality assurance and productivity. Maintains and repairs maintenance shop equipment. Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary. Investigates and responds to all complaints originating from multiple Medical Centers. Assists in the training and orientation of employees across locations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
