We believe outstanding patient experiences begin with clear communication, collaboration, and genuine care from every member of our team. We are seeking a personable, organized, and motivated team member to join our growing practice as a New Patient Appointment Coordinator & Treatment Consultant . Position Overview This hybrid role combines patient coordination, treatment consulting, and front office support. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, guiding patients through treatment decisions, and helping create a seamless patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion. As a key member of our patient experience team, you will help patients understand their treatment options, navigate financial arrangements, and feel confident moving forward with care. You will also collaborate closely with doctors, referring offices, and the front office team to ensure excellent communication and continuity of care. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Warm, welcoming, and patient-focused Organized and detail-oriented A strong communicator and active listener Calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Comfortable discussing treatment plans and finances Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented Motivated to learn and grow within the practice Key ResponsibilitiesNew Patient Coordination Welcome and assist new patients with professionalism and warmth Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly Schedule and coordinate new patient appointments Gather and maintain accurate patient information Communicate effectively with patients and referring offices Create a smooth and positive onboarding experience Treatment Consulting Review treatment plans in a clear, supportive, and patient-friendly manner Help patients understand the value and importance of recommended care Discuss financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and payment options Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and appointments Support case acceptance through education, communication, and relationship-building Administrative & Team Support Support daily front office operations Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members Ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office culture Qualifications Dental office experience preferred Periodontic or specialty dental experience is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements Positive attitude and strong work ethic Dentrix experience preferred Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Bonus and incentive opportunities Medical and dental benefits Paid time off and holidays 401(k) Continuing education opportunities Supportive, growth-focused team environment Long-term career growth within a respected specialty practice About the Role Our Treatment Consultant serves as an advocate for patients by helping them overcome barriers to care through education, empathy, and personalized support.
