A Shift - Sun, Mon, Tues, alternating Wed | 5:40am-6:00pm About the Role Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Unwind Operator to join our team in Brentwood, NH. The Unwind Operator works closely with Coater and Facer Backer Operators to produce quality products that meet our customer specifications. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper use and alignment of raw materials, maintaining quality and safety standards, effective communication, and supporting smooth production flow. Key Responsibilities Safety & Environmental Lives the Safety Standard "Safer Together." Complies with all plant rules, safety requirements, and PPE protocols. Inspects equipment, maintains cleanliness, and promptly reports safety concerns or incidents. Participates in plant safety, maintenance, and improvement programs. Operation & Quality Accurately follows work orders, SOPs, and quality/specification guidelines. Monitors quality of raw materials, reports defects, and completes required documentation. Supports operation of the unwind station, accumulator rack, splicing, tension control, and adjustments. Provides back-up support to coater and facer backer operators. Maintenance & Improvement Participates in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and improvement initiatives. Assists with preventive maintenance and maintains optimal equipment conditions. Identifies opportunities to improve procedures, efficiencies, and housekeeping. Other Effectively communicates with teammates and supervisors. Supports colleague training and adapts to changing priorities. Maintains regular in-person attendance. Skills and Qualifications Positive work ethic and ability to identify/report safety issues. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to multitask with high attention to detail. Basic math, reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.

Basic computer skills:

Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems (SAP, IVC, Ignition). Able to work independently and as part of a team. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing or process-related experience preferred. Work schedule flexibility, including overtime and 12-hour shifts. Physical Requirements Work in extreme temperatures, noisy environments, and exposure to dust, ink, and fumes. Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and upper/lower body movement. Distinguish colors and shading; handle and manipulate materials/tools. Wear appropriate PPE and become forklift certified if required.
