Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-NICU Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing expert care for critically ill newborns in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with NICU expertise, ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of infants and their families. You will be an essential member of a high-performing team, delivering advanced care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Schedule/Hours:
07:00 PM to 07:30
AM Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience as a NICU RN Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Demonstrated experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or related field Seven (7) years of recent Level
III NICU
experience within the past ten years
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill or premature neonates in a Level
III NICU
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other professionals to implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and education to families regarding neonatal conditions and care procedures Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements This contract role offers the chance to practice at the forefront of neonatal care, working shifts that allow for meaningful continuity and connection with your patients.
