Job Description

Night Auditor A beautiful local resort in Whitefish, Montana, is currently seeking a Night Auditor to join its guest services team. With upscale accommodations and a commitment to exceptional service, this resort offers a convenient and inviting location just minutes from local dining, outdoor recreation, and some of the region's most iconic destinations. Whether our guests are looking for adventure, relaxation, or both, they can enjoy an experience that blends comfort, style, and authentic hospitality. The Night Auditor oversees hotel operations during overnight hours, serving as the primary guest contact while completing nightly accounting and front desk responsibilities. This role ensures accurate posting of guest charges, verifies payment and credit, manages reservations and room assignments, and maintains clear communication of guest information with hotel staff.

Full-time, Nights - 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Whitefish Essential Functions and Duties:
Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for guests, providing customer service and support throughout their stay Perform front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and handling guest inquiries or requests Verify reservation details, confirm length of stay, and assign rooms while accommodating special requests when possible Complete nightly audit procedures, ensuring all guestroom charges are accurately posted and balanced Establish and verify proper payment methods and credit authorization for guests Maintain accurate guest and room records while communicating updates to appropriate hotel staff and departments
Qualifications:
Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Outlook, Excel and PMS system knowledge preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience Demonstrated ability to remain alert, attentive, and detail-focused throughout overnight shifts Strong concentration skills with accuracy in following procedures and entering data Get in touch!
