Night Porter

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and welcoming. This role is crucial for providing a positive experience for both employees and visitors. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high cleanliness standards. Assist with janitorial and custodial duties to ensure facilities are clean and safe for use. Support maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care methods, including buffing and polishing surfaces. Experience in facilities maintenance is beneficial for this role. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
