Night Shift Travel Pharmacist Hospital Setting

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A hospital in Reno is seeking an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for a 3 month + contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with strong inpatient experience who is comfortable working independently overnight in a fast paced acute care environment.

Assignment Details:

~170 bed hospital setting 3 month + contract Start ASAP 7 on / 7 off night schedule 10-hour shifts Systems used:

EPIC and Pyxis Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Ensure safe and compliant medication distribution practices Support inpatient pharmacy operations during overnight coverage

Requirements:

Active Nevada Pharmacist license Recent hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience Strong clinical knowledge and order verification experience Experience with EPIC and Pyxis preferred Ability to work independently on night shift Excellent communication and collaboration skills This opportunity offers competitive weekly pay along with full time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc. or reach out for further inquiry: 281-848-7415 Compensation for this position ranges from $51.00 to $65.00.
