General information Name Night Warehouse Supervisor Ref # 3098 City Mesa State Arizona Country United States Work Hours Mon-Fri, 3p-12a Function Warehouse Management Description & Requirements Job Description We are searching for a Night Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center. This position directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse and transportation operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel. Supervisors should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor leads the training and development of operations team members to foster a productive, safe, and service-oriented work environment. Responsibilities Include:
Lead the selection, training, direction, and motivation of warehouse personnel to ensure high performance and engagement. Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Lead, Day Warehouse Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager; provide coverage and support during their absence. Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and consistently used in accordance with company safety standards. Utilize routing software to optimize delivery routes, assign drivers, and update delivery instructions. Assist with timekeeping and attendance management for warehouse staff. Provide coaching, training, and performance development for the Operations Team, applying progressive discipline when necessary. Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse Manager Ensure all Operations Team members are current on required training modules within the Learning Management System (LMS). Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and fleet operations.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven leadership experience in warehouse operations within the distribution or a similar industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team supervision and training. Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of warehouse and driver personnel to meet daily operational goals. In-depth knowledge of shipping, receiving, and delivery processes, with a strong emphasis on inventory control and fleet management. Committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment through the implementation of safety procedures. Must be able to operate various pieces of equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization Familiarity with chemical spill cleanup procedures and safety protocols. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Consistent and reliable attendance record. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and maintain balance throughout the workday. Manual dexterity to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to communicate effectively in environments with moderate to high noise levels. Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly required to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Frequently required to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pound
