Nightshift CNA

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nightshift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Your expertise will support a variety of clinical needs, from basic resident care while maintaining a warm and respectful environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Observe changes in resident conditions, accurately documenting findings in electronic health record (EHR) system. Support specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral health management. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care to prevent infection. Assist with resident transfers using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices. Respond promptly to resident calls or emergencies during the night shift to ensure safety and comfort. Requirements Current CNA certification with active licensure in Indiana. Prior experience working in long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience with Point Click Care for accurate medical documentation. Familiarity with infection control practices and HIPAA compliance. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards of patient care. Strong communication skills and compassionate caregiving approach tailored to geriatric populations. Pay:
