Full-Time Staff Perfusionist

Overview:

Join our dedicated team at The Valley Hospital, handling approximately 600 open-heart cases annually. Our cases primarily include CABGs and Valves, with occasional ECMO support. With a team of four full-time perfusionists, this position offers a supportive and collaborative work environment. On-call responsibilities are evenly distributed among the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries. Collaborate with a team of 3-4 cardiac surgeons on diverse procedures. Provide expert perfusion support for CABG, valve procedures, and occasional ECMO cases. Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols. Participate in on-call rotation.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay:

$180,000.00 - $245,000.00 per year

Relocation Assistance:

CME Reimbursement:

$1,500.00 annually (Carry-over for 3 years)

Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential required. Licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience with CABG, valve procedures, and ECMO is preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
