Scale House Assistant Job Description We are seeking a skilled scale house assistant with experience with Microsoft office, computers, sending emails, and the use of weighing trucks with a computer system.. This role involves general labor tasks and requires proficiency in communication skills/ ability to complete tasks. Responsibilities Verified that driver documentation matched the material coming in. Ensured accuracy of load information, including weight, material type, and ticket details. Weighed incoming and outgoing trucks and accurately entered all data into the computer system Organized and maintained all scale tickets and related documentation in an orderly manner. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in communication skills and use of computers Familiarity with the recycling and resale of aggregates is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment involves operating within an 80-acre quarry in Prospect Park, NJ, that specializes in sorting and recycling demolition debris. The quarry is equipped with multiple quarry crusher machines. The role is supported by a dedicated team including admin staff, project managers, a sales representative, and an environmental engineer. Work is conducted in collaboration with multiple companies and the project is expected to continue until 2055. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prospect Park, NJ.
