Non CDL Driver / Passenger Van Service

Virginia Regional Transit is seeking part time Non-CDL drivers to operate a new van passenger service within Roanoke, County, VA. Virginia Regional Transit is a non-profit organization that offers employees flexible schedules, paid training, paid time off, paid holidays, dental and an employer matching retirement plan in a family-friendly environment! Service is Monday - Friday. Scheduled shifts are 6:30 am - 1:30 pm and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Currently recruiting for the PM shift but hours may slightly shift based on need.

Job Requirements:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma. One year of directly related experience preferred.

Post Conditional Offer Contingencies :

Employment is contingent on satisfactory results of a background check, drug screening, driving record check and a valid driver's license in the state of Virginia or nearby state of residence.

Other Requirements:

Drivers must be at least 21 years old, complete PASS training, and obtain an employer paid DOT physical examination.
