Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, where your energetic and compassionate approach will make a real difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will safely transport individuals to medical appointments, community centers, and other destinations using specialized vehicles. Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and dedication to customer service will ensure each passenger experiences a comfortable and timely journey. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle buses, paratransit vehicles, or limousines to transport clients to scheduled appointments and destinations Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the trip Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including routine checks on brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage while adhering to safety protocols Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times Document trips accurately in logs and report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred Familiarity with paratransit services, heavy lifting techniques, and vehicle maintenance is advantageous Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification is highly desirable Experience driving limousines or school buses is a plus but not required Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with passengers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations Join us in delivering reliable transportation services that prioritize safety, comfort, and exceptional customer care.
