NP - Emergency Medicine Job in Oneida, New York

Position Highlights Full-time schedule with flexible shift options (day, evening, nights) 10 and 12-hour shifts with predictable scheduling Collaborative practice with experienced emergency medicine physicians Supportive team environment with strong nursing and support staff Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department Perform medical screening exams and manage a wide range of acute conditions Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic testing Perform procedures within scope (e.g., suturing, splinting, abscess drainage) Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives Qualifications Nurse practitioner (FNP, ACNP) or physician assistant (PA-C) Board certified (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) Active New York license (or ability to obtain) EM, urgent care, or acute care experience preferred ACLS, BLS, and PALS required Strong clinical decision-making and ability to manage patients independently Preferred Experience Prior ED experience Comfort with moderate acuity and procedures Ability to work efficiently in a team-based, high-volume environment Why Join This Program Stable, well-established EM team Opportunity to practice at the top of your license Mentorship and support for continued professional development Flexible scheduling with strong work-life balance Interested in learning more?
