Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract role is ideal for professionals who excel in delivering high-quality patient care through advanced nuclear medicine techniques.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging, including preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, operation of imaging equipment, and safety protocols Minimum one year of recent experience in a nuclear medicine or imaging setting Strong understanding of imaging software and digital record management systems Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team BLS certification required; ACLS a plus
Responsibilities:
Conduct a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures—with emphasis on cardiac imaging—to provide essential diagnostic data to physicians Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with safety and quality control guidelines Operate and maintain imaging and ancillary equipment for optimal performance and image quality Educate patients about procedures, providing reassurance and ensuring comfort throughout their imaging experience Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA standards and infection control protocols Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure efficient, effective clinical operations
