Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career by leveraging your expertise in nuclear medicine technology. This contract opportunity offers a meaningful way to support patient care using advanced imaging technologies in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Rotating weekend call
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Accurately document patient history, procedure results, and pertinent observations within the electronic medical record system. Collaborate closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes. Follow strict radiation safety standards to protect yourself, your colleagues, and your patients. Participate in continuing education, quality assurance programs, and equipment maintenance routines as required.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Valid and unrestricted technologist licensure, as required by local regulations. Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging department is highly desirable. Proficient in various nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiopharmaceutical handling. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to reassure patients and coordinate effectively with colleagues. Ability to adapt within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
