Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist supporting patient care through expert diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This contract position offers a consistent daytime schedule and opportunities for professional collaboration within a dynamic healthcare team.
Schedule:
9-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
Workdays:
Sunday through Wednesday On-call required: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm No weekend rotation Holiday coverage only if the holiday falls on a scheduled shift
Qualifications:
Certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARDMS, NMTCB, or equivalent) Current state licensure, if required Proven experience in a clinical imaging setting Strong knowledge of radiation safety, radiopharmaceutical handling, and nuclear medicine protocols Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to department procedures and policy changes
Responsibilities:
Operate nuclear medicine equipment to collect high-quality diagnostic images Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, procedures, and outcomes Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety regulations and infection control standards Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting issues as needed Support patients by providing clear information and reassurance before, during, and after procedures Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and contribute to a patient-centered approach Remain available for call-back requirements as scheduled This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist seeking a stable workweek with no weekend on-site expectations.
