Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment specializing in advanced imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in nuclear medicine procedures, supporting accurate diagnostics and quality patient care in a well-equipped medical setting. Your work will play a crucial role in guiding treatment decisions while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours Flexible scheduling may be available based on department needs
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N) Completed accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Proficiency in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine studies and preparing radiopharmaceuticals Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and equipment maintenance Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Operate imaging equipment and monitor image quality Maintain accurate patient records and document upon completion of procedures Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care Adhere to all departmental policies, protocols, and relevant regulatory guidelines Support and educate patients throughout the imaging process
