Job Description

Nuclear Pharmacist/ Production Manager
COMPANY OVERVIEW
SpectronRx is a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and production locations in South Bend, IN; Bunker Hill, IN; and Danbury, CT with plans for additional future production facilities. We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Pharmacist/ Production Manager to join our growing company. The Nuclear Pharmacist/ Production Manager will play an essential role in the manufacturing of therapeutic and diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals for patient use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Implement and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. Maintaining required licensure and assuring compliance with all regulatory commitments, to include Radiation Safety, DOT Regulations and corporate policies. Provide guidance to maintain compliance with evolving USP Guidelines, Pharmacy laws, FDA Directives and Guidelines. Follow and improve the policies and procedures for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals. Monitor the preparation and production and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals. Establish corrective actions as necessary to correct deviations below acceptable standards. Performs other related duties as assigned. Physical Ability

TRAVEL Regular travel is not expected.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be a Registered Pharmacist. Must have active pharmacy license in state of Indiana with all held licenses in good standing, or be willing to obtain shortly after hire. NRC or state Authorized User Status designation in the company's states of operation. Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills. Ability to train and be trained. Thorough understanding of project management. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with a manufacturing or production environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid Indiana driver's license. Pass a Background Check. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
