Nurse

Camp Kieve and Wavus are seeking registered nurses to join our health center teams for Summer 2026. Our overnight tripping camps serve approximately 250 campers ages 8-16 across two sessions on Damariscotta Lake in midcoast Maine. Camp nurses care for the health and well-being of campers and staff as part of a collaborative health center team throughout the summer. Nurses are supported by the Health Center Director (RN), our KWE Healthcare Director (an on-site nurse practitioner), and a contracted consulting physician in town. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments Provide care for minor illnesses and injuries Consult with the Health Center Director, and the camp's on-site nurse practitioner as necessary, to arrange outside medical care when campers require urgent care or physician evaluation Support the Health Center Director in communication with camp leadership and families when appropriate Maintain clear and organized health documentation Serve as a clinical resource for Health Center Assistant Directors, counselors, and campers
