Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty units. Your expertise will ensure patients receive timely, accurate assessments and treatments while maintaining the highest standards of safety and confidentiality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated nursing care and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology evaluations, and medical history reviews to determine care needs. Administer medications, injections, IV insertions, and other treatments following established protocols and ensuring patient safety. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Monitor patient conditions continuously, recognizing signs of deterioration or improvement in various clinical environments such as ICU, Geriatrics, or post-acute care settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans aligned with patient needs. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information during all documentation and communication processes. Assist in emergency situations by providing immediate care in emergency room settings or urgent care facilities, including CPR and Basic Life Support procedures. Conduct venipuncture and other invasive procedures with precision while adhering to infection control standards for infectious disease care. Support patients through education on medication administration, anatomy knowledge relevant to their condition, and post-discharge instructions for outpatient or clinic care. Experience Proven experience working in Level II trauma centers or higher-level trauma environments such as Level I Trauma Centers. Demonstrated expertise in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or medical-surgical nursing with a focus on patient assessment and critical thinking. Experience providing specialized care in PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), Geriatrics, or sub-acute care settings is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Familiarity with urgent care operations, outpatient clinics, or post-acute outpatient services enhances versatility in delivering quality patient care. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology necessary for effective nursing practice. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are a plus.
