Evergreen Living Center in St. Ignace is offering a free, paid training class for you to become a Certified Nurses Aide. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate individual who is looking to embark on a new career path and working with a team where you can impact the lives of the elders we serve. • Students earn $17.00 per hour while they are in the class • Class is Monday- Friday and lasts approximately 4 weeks, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. To qualify for the class, it does require applicants to agree to work as a full time CNA for a minimum of 6 months in either a day or night shift (depending on what openings we have at the time). The class offers a mix of textbook learning, practical experience, and then hands-on experience working with our residents in our nursing home. To qualify for the class, all students must commit to working at MSHS as a CNA in a full time position upon graduating from the class. Once certified, our Full Time CNA's earn a competitive wage and receive excellent benefits, including affordable medical, dental, vision and prescription plans through BCBS, generous paid time off, and a defined contribution plan for your retirement through MERS of Michigan.
