Nurse Care Coordinator ( PRN RN ) - Mishawaka Are you a registered nurse looking to make a meaningful impact—while working in an environment that truly supports you? Minimum rate:
$33.52/hour Employment bonus Work-life balance and predictable scheduling Behavioral Health Assistance Consistent supervision and opportunities to expand your clinical skills As a vital member of our psychiatric services team, you will support clients youth along their mental health journey by: Assessing their mental and physical health upon admission Processing tests (TB,) Completing lab orders and securing test results Addressing somatic complaints Completing medication reconciliations, and physical assessments Ensuring that medication consents are complete Supporting pain resolution Assessing the need for precautions and reassessments Completing thorough charting Providing education on medication, physical concerns, and activities of daily living such as proper hygiene.Minimum hiring requirements:
Active Indiana Registered Nursing (RN) license Two years of post-degree psychiatric experience preferred Oaklawn offers student externship opportunities for nursing and medical assisting students on a limited basis.
