Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate nursing services within a healthcare facility. This vital role involves overseeing patient care delivery, managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes excellence in patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager will serve as a key leader in maintaining high standards of clinical practice, operational efficiency, and staff development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while supporting a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Duties Providing day-to-day clinical leadership and support to nursing staff Assisting with staffing coordination, scheduling oversight, and team development Monitoring quality measures, documentation standards, and clinical outcomes Supporting regulatory readiness, infection prevention efforts, and policy compliance Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of resident care Coaching and mentoring nurses, CNAs, and clinical support staff Addressing resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner Participating in audits, performance improvement initiatives, and risk management processes Helping drive employee engagement, retention, and positive workplace culture Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines Implement discharge planning, family education, and care coordination strategies to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control policies while maintaining accurate medical coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT) and utilization review processes. Facilitate ongoing staff training including Basic Life Support (BLS), IV insertion, sterile technique, catheter care, and other clinical skills. Skills Active
RN/LVN/LPN
license in Wisconsin Prior leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehab, or post-acute care preferred Strong understanding of nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and clinical best practices Ability to lead teams with professionalism, accountability, and empathy Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with EMR systems and healthcare documentation standards Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment Excellent team management skills with the ability to foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
