Within the hospital's cancer care and infusion center, the Nurse Manager Medical Oncology will lead an integrated Oncology and Infusion program that seamlessly coordinates chemotherapy, immunotherapy, symptom management, and survivorship services; anchored by a critical access hospital located in southern New Hampshire offering advanced acute care and outpatient care services, the environment also reflects a highly-rated birthing center, top-tier cardiac care, advanced surgical technology, and a healing environment recognized nationally for its beauty—capabilities and amenities that strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and elevate the daily experience for the Nurse Manager Medical Oncology and every patient served.
Reporting directly to the Director of Cancer Services and partnering closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Medical Oncology oversees daily operations, infusion throughput, staffing models, competency validation, quality metrics, regulatory readiness, and budget stewardship, while the Nursing Oncology and Infusion team thrives under supportive leadership that champions shared governance, mentorship, and professional development; in this Nurse Manager Medical Oncology position, collaboration with friendly nurses, pharmacists, oncologists, APPs, social work, case management, and rehab specialists fosters a diverse, team-based practice where evidence-based protocols, streamlined EHR workflows, and specialty consults help deliver safe, timely, patient-centered care.
