Within the Endoscopy GI Lab—also known as the Gastroenterology Lab, Endo, or part of broader Perioperative and Perianesthesia Services—the Nurse Manager of Gastroenterology Lab will guide a modern service line that supports complex diagnostics and therapeutics such as advanced polypectomy, EMR, ESD, ERCP, and EUS, alongside efficient pre-op and post-anesthesia workflows; this nurse leader will champion safety, infection prevention, and turnaround excellence while building a culture of empathy and precision that reflects the hospital's status as named among America's 250 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades, placing it in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance.

Reporting to a Director of Surgical Services with close partnership from GI physicians, anesthesia, and quality leaders, the Nurse Manager of GI Lab will have strong educator, clinical RN, and endoscopy technician support to oversee daily operations, budgeting and staffing, reprocessing and high-level disinfection standards, scheduling and throughput, accreditation readiness, sedation policy adherence, and outcomes tracking; surrounded by friendly nurses and a diverse, interprofessional team that includes pharmacy, case management, and sterile processing, the Nurse Manager of Surgical Services will lead with transparency, coach emerging charge RNs, mentor future leaders, and elevate patient experience through continuous improvement.
